Our Team
Andrea N. Bussell
I am Andrea N. Bussell, the driving force behind the Bussell Law Firm. Since beginning my practice in 2020, I have primarily focused on family law, a field where I have accumulated substantial experience and expertise. From serving as a Guardian Ad Litem for juveniles to acting as a Friend of the Court in complex child custody cases, and representing parties in custody disputes, divorces, adoptions, and more, family law has been the cornerstone of my practice.
My legal journey is fueled by a profound commitment to serving our community. It began with an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, followed by a Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.
Before embarking on my attorney career, I served at the Kentucky Court of Justice from 2010 to 2018, notably as the Drug Court program supervisor for the 18th Judicial Circuit from 2011 to 2018. This role was instrumental in shaping my professional path. I spearheaded initiatives to broaden access to substance abuse treatment and mental health services in the 18th Judicial Circuit, culminating in the successful acquisition of a significant SAMHSA grant. This achievement allowed the expansion of the Drug Court program to provide early intervention, making a substantial impact on the community.
These experiences cemented my resolve to practice law, driven by a passion to advocate for those in need. As an attorney, my approach is grounded in the same dedication and empathy that marked my tenure in the judicial system.
